We truly need some “professional” help.We are actively seeking self-motivated individuals who are willing to learn organizing skills as a team and motivated to serve humanity to please Allah. If your motives are just money clock-in and clock-out, this may not be a job for you. Job will pay well at a not-for-profit scale. However, willingness to sacrifice a bit for the humanity is the spirit needed.Our work to stop genocide in Burma is fast expanding and becoming a bit overwhelming for its couple of full-time staff. There is an urgent need for more full-time staff to support our volunteer work.We urgently need the following:Media CoordinatorResponsibilities: Responsible for communications to the media, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives. Provide articles, infographics, and images to media outlets around the world. Cultivate and manage relationships with media reps.Requirements: Any college graduate with good writing skills can do this job. We will train the person in media relations. Preferred skills: Graphic design.Web Content SpecialistResponsibilities: Acquire, write and upload content to our website, promote and post through social media.Requirements: A self-motivated individual with a college degree, experience and skills in website content management. Preferred skills: Writing skills, SEO knowledge, knowledge of Drupal (our content-management system), CiviCRM. YouTube ProducerResponsibilities: Film, edit, produce, and load videos on YouTube and promote them.Requirements: Experience in filming, editing, and production of films for online publicationThe work is from our offices in downtown Chicago.
